essential!!!!!!!!: so hard -to-find and insane batch of Latin-tinged tracks divided up into two suites -- one written by Gary McFarland and one written by Francy Boland. The band wails hard and fast, and in hot Afro-Cuban grooves, with plenty of room for solos by Benny Bailey, Tony Coe, Johnny Griffin, Sahib Shihab, and Derek Humble. The tracks are some of the best stuff the band ever did -- even thecd re-issues on dusty groove are sold out and this is the very, very rare original press on mps ( not the polydor or prestige re-ssue) -- even in germany very !!! hard to find
