THE FRONT COVER IS EXACTLY EQUAL TO THE REAR IN TERMS OF PRESERVATION - I JUST CAN'T SHOW IT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. **** HIGHLY UNUSUAL LEVEL OF PRESERVATION.
An original 1st press of BF on Polydor in the UK - 1969. A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original unlaminated gatefold cover - these were incredibly susceptible to wear. The interior does exhibit the 'distribution' sticker.  Also included is the original inner dated coded to Summer '69. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) A great looking copy and has only seen relatively light use. A couple of light marks per side, one patch of superficial scuffing - nothing heavy or significant. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in one track. Quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A really cracking copy with some super audio.Those acoustic sections are just so atmospheric - and with a clean background! And I mean that in the lowkey guitar and fiddle sections - practically perfect. All i could detect was some static crackles in that mega low-key section to the 2nd half of DWYL...where it goes all whisper low-key. It's ok in this section but not fully clean. To be fair - almost all copies struggle wit this section.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Holy cow! This cover is incredible...anyone who has tried to track this tote down from '69 will often find the is the weak point! HIGHLY unusual this cover rarely turns up looking anywhere near this well preserved. Hardly any edgewear and so must have been very carefully looked after down the years. Super clean surfaces - with no trace of ageing either. The interior sees to have avoided most of the usual ageing process. Text on the spine is 100% legible with hardly any wear at all...super unusual. Cover still retains excellent rigidity. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
