Two legendary guitarists - Eric Clapton and BB King - traded favours on this joint turn-of-the-millennium project. The pair first met at a chance jam at Bleecker Street hideout Cafe Au Go Go in 1967, but the final studio collaboration wouldn't materialise until 1999, with Clapton choosing five tunes from King's catalogue and for once stepping aside compositionally. Noted for its daringly bluesy growl - the allegation going that King, 20 years his senior, dragged Clapton into gruffer territories he daren't have braved on his own - it's a stark album noted for its sonic crystal clarity.
