  CIRCUS MORT 1981 Debut 12" EP NM/OOP Pre-SWANS Michael Gira GOTH No Wave NYC CIRCUS MORT "self-titled" 12" EP

Original and OUT OF PRINT 4-song 12" VINYL EP as released by Labor Records, US (LAB-11) label back in 1981.

True 1st pressing. Record represents MICHAEL GIRA's entry onto the musical grid bearing testament to his first musical project's birth, pre dating SWANS, etc.... This is an exceptionally rare document and to my knowledge the only official release by the band who would break up the same year this was released, having only played a couple if not a few shows, most notably supporting Bauhaus on one occassion.

This specific title is part of a 5,000 piece record collection I am in the process of unloading and comprised wholly of fringe and underground music of all stripes. Punk, Post-Punk, KBD, SXE, Industrial, Experimental, Metal, Electronica, Goth, Free Jazz, Jazz, Sound Effects, etc.... so check back as I'll be posting on average 50 pieces or more a week. All records in this collection run primarily as being NEAR MINT with many being more to the top end of the MINT spectrum and with very few pieces being anything less then VERY GOOD PLUS....
