Description

One of the autumn’s most hotly anticipated records, Glasgow’s finest pop trio return with their follow-up to 2013’s The Bones of What You Believe - undoubtedly one of the standout debuts of recent years.

Musically, Every Open Eye seeks to do more with less; to make something intense and urgent and visceral, using the basic tools of melody, rhythm and arrangement.

Sonically, its 11 tracks develop CHVRCHES’ signature style, juxtaposing the light and the dark, creating their own brand of twisted pop music that uniquely merges the organic with the electronic, moulding sounds and ideas forged over two years on the road into an electronic-pop record with a heart.

Bolder, sharper and wiser, the record has already been sampled through the stunning tracks Leave a Trace, Never Ending Circles and Clearest Blue, and by any measure makes for a must-hear.

  • Vinyl LP.

  • Also available on CD and deluxe CD.
