You are bidding on "NO MONEY DOWN" and "THE DOWNBOUND TRAIN" by CHUCK BERRY on CHESS 1615, released in January, 1956, Chuck's third record.

Charles "Chuck" Berry was born in St. Louis, Mo. in 1926.

Not surprizingly, "No Money Down" is about buying a car, his usual theme being cars in his early records.

I bought this record new in the spring of 1961 at Rose Record Store on Wabash Avenue in the Chicago Loop. They were cleaning out their 45 rpm files and had thousands of 45s for sale at six for a dollar. I bought lots of Blues, R&B and R&R, many of which I had never heard. This was one of them.

Condition: VG+  Shiny grooves with no scratches or scuffs. Very clean record.
