Description
A group of ten original 1960s Chubby Checker 45's with picture sleeves on the Parkway label. I have listed and detailed each separately. I have also noted any significant flaws with either the sleeve or record. Although not shown in the photo, each record is housed in a separate green sleeve outside of the actual picture sleeve.
#811 "The Twist/Twistin' U.S.A." Sleeve is VG (some light surface wrinkling, tiny pen writing on both sides, two-inch split along the bottom edge). Vinyl is VG also (a couple small pen marks on both labels).
#824 "Let's Twist Again/Everything's Gonna' Be All Right" Sleeve is VG+ to VG++ (tiny name written in pencil on the front side, small staple mark in the two upper corners). Vinyl is VG+ (small pen writing on the a-side label).
#830 "The Fly/That's The Way It Goes" Sleeve is VG (some light surface wrinkling, small pen writing along the top edge of the front side). Vinyl is VG+ (some pen or pencil writing that was erased on the a-side label).
#835 "Slow Twistin'/La Paloma Twist" Sleeve is VG (some light surface wrinkling, very light 'record impression' surface wear to both sides). Vinyl is VG to VG+
#849 "Limbo Rock/Popeye (The Hitchhiker)" Sleeve is good (surface tear on the front side, staple-removal tear in one of the upper corners, dried clear tape residue along one of the side seams). Vinyl is VG.
#862 "Let's Limbo Some More/Twenty Miles" Sleeve is VG (some light surface wrinkling, tiny pen writing on both sides, small store price stamped in ink on the front side). Vinyl is VG+ to VG++
#879 "Twist It Up/Surf Party" Sleeve is good to very good (a portion of one of the upper corners is torn away, some very light label-area ringwear to both sides). Vinyl is good to very good also (a bit of pen writing on the a-side label).
#890 "Loddy Lo/Hooka Tooka" Sleeve is VG+ (a few very minor surface wrinkles only). Vinyl is VG+ also.
#907 "Hey, Bobba Needle/Spread Joy" Sleeve is good to very good (a bit of surface wrinkling/creasing, small store price stamped in ink on the back side). Vinyl is VG+ to VG++ (small sticker on the a-side label).
#920 "Rosie/Lazy Elsie Molly" Sleeve is VG++ (very nice!!). Vinyl is M-/unplayed!!

I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself. I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.

First Class or Flat Rate Priority mail are the cheapest methods of international shipping that I offer for sales totaling less than $100.00; but please be aware there is NO WAY to track these packages once they leave my hands. If you want tracking information, you need to upgrade to Regular Priority Mail or Registered Mail. Purchases totaling $100.00 or more must be sent with either a registered or regular Priority Mail tracking number. This is the best way to ensure your item(s) gets to you safely and is in compliance with Ebay/Paypal's seller protection policies. The registered fee is listed separately, as "Expedited Shipping," under the shipping prices ($18.00 flat fee for up to five 45 records in a single mailer).
I am always happy to offer combined shipping for ALL BUYERS for up to one week from the closing date of the initial purchase. This is a courtesy that I offer to all buyers regardless of location. Please do not expect me to hold items for 2 or 3 weeks (or even more) while additional bids are placed. Please try to be considerate of this request when bidding on multiple items on different dates. Payment is always expected WITHIN ONE WEEK FROM THE CLOSING DATE OF THE BUYER'S INITIAL PURCHASE. Combined shipping rates are as follows:
Combined shipping for U.S. BUYERS: I can ship up to five 45 records for a flat $3.00 First Class Mail fee. I can ship between six and twenty-four 45 records for the same $3.00 flat fee, but by Media Mail (allow 10 to 14 business days for delivery).
Combined shipping for CANADIAN BUYERS: I can ship up to five 45 records for a flat $3.00 First Class Mail fee. I can ship between six and sixteen 45 records by Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope for a fee of $12.00 (this service does not include a valid tracking number). Purchases totaling $100.00 or more must include a registered tracking number.
Combined shipping for all other INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: First 45 record is $6.00 First Class Mail. Add $1.00 per additional 45 record up to five sent by First Class Mail. I can ship between six and sixteen 45 records by Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope for a fee of $14.00 (this service does not include a valid tracking number). Purchases totaling $100.00 or more must include a registered tracking number.
All of my individual 45s are shipped in professionally-designed, cardboard mailers with extra cardboard padding.
Buyer satisfaction and returns: I offer what I believe is a very reasonable return policy for all individual items (and smaller lots) that I sell. The item must be returned to me exactly as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer. I will refund the original sale price and shipping fee only; return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. I do not give ‘partial’ refunds either (i.e. the buyer keeps the item for a lesser price). This policy applies to U.S. and non-U.S. buyers alike and regardless of the final sale price of the item. That being said, please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding.
Items are normally shipped within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of payment.
