Description

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION CHRIS POWELL & HIS FIVE BLUE FLAMES 45 RPM THE MASQUERADE IS OVER / TALKIN' OKEH 4-6818 RARE DOO WOP.  (Vinyl looks and plays GREAT, very small superficial marks on vinyl that do not affect play, minor background noise, see pics). (Machine-Stamped in DEADWAX are ZSP 7720 1B & ZSP 7721 1A).

* I have collected many 45’s, most since the late 50’s thru early-mid 60’s.  My collection includes thousands of 45 rpm records, many are VG+ to EX and several are in EX to NM- Condition.  I recently turned 79 years old and my son has convinced me to start selling and start traveling.  When I purchased or acquired them back then, I truly believed most were original pressings.  I have kept the best care of them I could.  Please look at the pictures for details.  You can see how well kept the vinyl and labels are for being over 60 years old.  I am not trying to fool anyone, I am not a Vinyl Expert.  I describe the 45 Vinyl to the best of my ability based on Price Guide grading.

The 45’s are both machine stamped and etched, which are originals.  I learned that not all record companies used a machine stamp back in the day.  Many were etched as well and this is a big issue I have heard about from eBayers.  However, you can check with Wikipedia and many others Professional Vinyl Guides and Info that will tell you is the same.  I have many absolute Originals from the 1st Pressing and they have Etched Numbers and some are Machine Stamped, just an FYI. I did notice many of the bigger Record Companies did have machine stamped records, while smaller companies did not.  If you have any questions about the item please ask.  Thank you.
