KILLER ELITE British jazz prog from the late 60s/early 70s movement relying on amazing improvisation and super session accuracy. I actually saw this unit in 1973 at London's Roundhouse and they blew me away - syncopation and free form extemporizing taking centre stage. Led by South African born free-jazz acolyte Chris McGregor the album goes to the moon and back reaching places previously unexplored. A tough listen for sure but this is free-form jazz at it's most potent, demanding and utterly brilliant.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Neon, UK, 1971

Vinyl: Beautifully clean and shiny - can't have been played more than three or four times. No spindle marks on labels and no other signs of any use. Playback reveals brilliant full range analog sound - amazing depth and clarity. Grades as top shop fresh MINT!

Cover: Displays some light signs of handling. Issued in a beautifully designed gate fold cover. Sharp corners (lightly worn), no dings, no bends, light ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Hard to find this one with a decent cover and this is about the best I've seen. Grades as a nice Ex
