CHRIS FARLOWE – In The Midnight Hour ORIG Immediate EP // IMEP 001 (UK, Mono, 1965)
Happy to present Farlowe’s first Immediate EP and a very well looked after example this is, too.
The front-laminated, flipback sleeve is in great shape. Slight ring impression if held meticulously in to the light, a slight toning to the rear panel and slightly curled but otherwise, not much to fault. NO splits, tears, writing and in fact, hardly anything in the way of creasing either. Grades EX (Excellent) condition.
The labels are almost ‘as new’ near pristine white with NO writing, NO other damage and hardly a trace of spindle use to the centre hole. Lovely early textured style too. Beautiful pair of these vintage Immediates!
The vinyl is M- (Mint Minus) and to all intents and purposes look pretty much brand new. NO real discernible marks and virtually 100% factory shine. You won’t find much better.
IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and both sides sound absolutely fantastic. So expect NO snap, crackle or pop, NO ticks, clicks or distortion. Superb listen which confidently matches the visual grade!
