These records are from my collection of more than 20,000 classical music LPs, acquired since the early 1960s. All the records have been

 catalogued, carefully graded and stored on shelves. I am very fussy about condition and my records are either NM or EX+ and come

 with a full guarantee.

The complete solo piano music of Chopin on 15 LPs. In an October 1980  Decca publicity note on the decision to record

all the solo piano music in chronological order, Ashkenazy explains that the survey will comprise 15 LPs and will include the whole

oeuvre from the first compositions of 1817 to the last in 1849. The recording began in 1971 and was completed in 1985, each 

volume adhering to the chronological scheme, with the exception of volume one (SXL 6710),  recorded in 1971 / 1972 and

released in 1975 before the project was conceived.

GRADING: 

NM (near mint):  Looks as new. No marks or scratches. Seldom played with few, if any, spindle marks on the label.

EX+:  No significant marks or scratches. May have light paper scuffs and non-sounding hairlines. Very few spindle marks on the label.

EX:  We rarely list items in this category, which may show more signs of wear and have heavier  marks and scuffs, but no serious flaws that might compromise sound quality. Still a fine copy.
