 CHOCOLATE FROG
'BUTCHERS AND BAKERS / I FORGIVE YOU'

  on the original ATLANTIC RECORDS DEMO 45 584207 from 1968!

The Fleur De Lys started out with a couple of uber-rare singles for Immediate, that are gold-dust to find now (and probably then too!). Throughout the band's time though, they cut many other highly regarded singles, freakbeat and psychedelic highlights of the 60's, as well as backing Sharon Tandy on several top tracks as well. ('Daughter of The Sun' is astounding).
The offshoots included Rupert's People.
So, they are now a record-collectors dream for having made such outstanding rare singles and under several disguises. This may be the most renowned of the 'pseudonym' singles - and it's a pounding heavy-harmony pop-rocker really, and again of high quality and epitomised the time.
 

The vinyl is VG++, playing through well and visually light scuff only.
The labels are clean bright, and as new - just a small demo date-stamp on the 'A'(see pic).
