 Pop Music of Africa I & II 2 x 10" vinyl 33 rpm discs in generic card sleeves and plastic inners with one pasted front. Recorded by Sound News Productions dated 1968. 16 tracks in all. SNLP 68/68, SNLP 59/60. The other disc I am listing is a duplicate of SNLP 59/60.
Hailing from Chitedze in central Malawi this band seems to have sunk without a digital trace. There still remains, in the real world, these two discs. Directed by Alex S. Mittelholzer Ph. D. Kennedy Ndoya flute, Jackson Kachiwa drums, Geoffrey Billy base (sic), Wellington Nyirenda maracas, John Ngoma guitar and Alex Mittleholzer guitar.
