THE CHILD MOLESTERS (I'm the) Hillside Strangler 7" (Ace & Duce Records -- ADS 5001) 1978 Yep, this is it -- quite possibly the most infamous record represented on
Killed by Death vol 1. No, this isn't the 1998 repress -- this is the real thing.
Not the first pressing, no, but the just-as-rare-in-its-own-right second pressing -- each was limited to 200 copies. The vinyl is in very nice shape -- a tiny bit of surface noise at the beginning of
each side, & that's it. A 1/8-inch fleck of paper is missing from the 8 o'clock
position on the A-side label, but otherwise the record could've
come from the store yesterday.
The fold-over sleeve has a light half-inch crease in the top left corner
|(top left on the back, of course), a 1-inch crease on the right edge about
an inch from the bottom right (left edge from the bottom left, plus a
quarter-inch bottom corner crease that isn't reflected on the front of the
sleeve), & some light creasing in the bottom left corner (bottom right on back).
All records shipped in LP or 7" mailers, sleeved in plastic
& reinforced with cardboard.
