Hi..I have decided to sell some more of my record collection which I have accumulated over many years. I am not a trader or record shop and I am just recommencing selling on eBay. I am music fan who has collected vinyl records over many years and much to my 'other-half's' delight and, to my own disdain, over the coming days/weeks I will be offering rare, and much sought after vinyl records including Prog Rock, Blues, Folk, etc from collectible labels such as Pink Island, Blue Horizon, Deram/Decca, Atlantic plum, Vertigo swirl, etc etc..

HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER AND EXTREMELY RARE LP IN THIS CONDITION; CHICKEN SHACK'S FIRST LP RELEASE ON THE ORIGINAL UK BLUE HORIZON LABEL. COLLECTORS OF STAN WEBB, CHRISTINE McVIE (nee PERFECT) et al KNOW THIS IS A 'MUST HAVE' AS IT IS ONE OF CHICKEN SHACK'S RAREST UK BLUE HORIZON PRESSINGS AND AN INDISPENSABLE ADDITION TO THEIR CHICKEN SHACK, BLUE HORIZON, MIKE VERNON CATALOUGE. The LP is in truly EXCELLENT++ condition, and is genuinely a reluctant sale.

Before I offer for sale I play grade to check my vinyl's and I have just played both sides on an upmarket deck. I always start with a low starting price to attract bidders as I see no point in asking for unrealistic prices for LP's to begin with - it defeats the object of bidding.

The vinyl plays superb with no jumps or sticking, no breakfast frying sound - even between tracks the audio is outstanding! You'll be even very hard pressed to hear any pop or click! The quality of the heavyweight vinyl is amazing and some sellers would easily describe this vinyl as virtually mint. It has no groove-wear and retains a beautiful high gloss - it really is that incredible for an LP 43yrs old!  

This is by far the best sounding UK pressed audio of this sublime LP I have ever heard and I've heard many in my time. When you play the LP the whole way through you will understand what I am saying..I personally bought this LP brand new on its release back in '68. I kept it in my own personal collection for years - it so very rarely comes up for sale in such beautiful condition, and will definitely be a 'keeper' for you too.

When I read back my description I feel I am underselling this LP from the Mike Vernon stable of Blue Horizon and you would be thinking I'm doing myself an injustice with my description, but I am honest and treat others the way I wish to be treated myself; therefore I am describing it to the best of my ability.

*Also, I have not attempted to clean the LP in case of damage to the vinyl because in my opinion it is in such outstanding condition that it doesn't require any object or cleaning agent applied, in fact the only implement this single requires is a stylus*

Labels:

Excellent+ ...Both Blue Horizon labels are clean and bright! (see images)... There are the obious spindle-marks around the spindle-hole but these do not rip/tear the labels or downgrade appearance of the labels in any way. No ink and no unsightly smudges or blemishes in any way whatsoever.

Sleeve:

Excellent ...Front laminate single sleeve is still sturdy and robust. It does have a slight ageing appearance on the opening and spine but is hardly an issue, however for this reason I am describing the cover as Excellent, rather than excellent+ ..(it is still 100% better than some of what you see hanging up, or in the rack of that record shop) -This to me simply adds to the authenticity of the LP as everything about it is original. Few odd marks on rear of sleeve but no writing, no tears, no unsightly blemishes whatsoever.
