Description
Simply beautiful copy of the first Chicago LP, Chicago Transit Authority, on original 1969 first pressing Columbia 2-Eye double gatefold GP-8. Both discs are almost perfectly mint. I say "almost" because on side one there is a very small mark, but it does not affect the play at all. All four sides are otherwise absolutely immaculate and every moment of the music is flawless without the slightest tick or crackle anywhere. Just a beautiful copy. The cover has very light ringwear, WAY less than most copies, and maybe a slight touch of very light corner wear but is in really exceptionally nice shape. The original hype stickers that would have been on the shrinkwrap were removed and then taped onto the cover. Some of you might like it that way, some not. I am quite sure the tape can be removed with some lighter fluid and patience, so you can do that if you like, or leave them. Personally I like them there. Anyhow this is a really fantastic original copy, hard to beat.
