Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1969 COLUMBIA RECORDS METAL ACETATE REFERENCE RECORDING 12" LP containing Sides 1 & 2 of the album titled 'Chicago', the second album from popular jazz-rockers Chicago. The labels show the matrix numbers XSM151734 and XSM 151735 and a recording date of 12/30/1969. Metal acetate record comes packaged in its original Transco Products (manufacturer of the recording blank) manila sleeve.

Condition of record is a high VG+ with a few visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play; this acetate plays with a little crackly surface noise. There is one very tiny chip in the acetate coating at the extreme outer edge of the record, which does not even come close to affecting either the lead-in area or the area containing music. Condition of manila sleeve is VG with some writing and a few small tears emanating from the center hole of one side of the sleeve. This metal acetate reference recording would be a choice addition to any rock acetate, Chicago, or late 1960s rock record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
