Description

CHET BAKER - Smokin' LP Prestige Records PRST 7449 Original Stereo Van Gelder Test Pressing. Featuring George Coleman, Kirk Lightsey, and Roy Brooks supporting Mr Baker. Mr Coleman is 92 years young and still performing.


COVER Generic white sleeve.


RECORD in Excellent Condition. Two light sleeve scuffs otherwise it's Near Mint with full sheen, brilliant  playback and fidelity. Van Gelder in deadwax on both sides. A few small dimples on B side aren't audible, both of my copies have this.

This is a rarely played double from collecting over 40 years, now available for another enthusiast.

These are rare and weren't available to the general public a complete opposite of the current 21st century market. Only pressing plant operators, management and the artists had access to these.


All records are from my personal collection. Conservative use of Gold Mine for grading. Open records are removed from cover before packing/shipping. All records are sandwiched between cardboard flats. Please ask questions before bidding or buying. All sales final.
