CHET BAKER & ART PEPPER :: "Playboys" :: Original U.S. Pressing You are bidding on an original 1957 pressing of the Chet Baker & Art Pepper Sextet performing "Playboys". The original cheesecake cover on World Pacific Records.
The LP is in incredible condition. The only reason I do not grade it near mint is for a minimum of surface noise in the silence between tracks. Otherwise sound quality is phenomenal, graded EX/VG++. No signs of wear. Pictures cannot do the playing surface of an LP justice but you'll be able to tell some of the gloss in the included photo of the label. The LP has been hand cleaned for optimal sound production but came to me already in incredible shape.
The artwork for this album is in incredible shape as well with no rubbing or ring wear. The lower seam has some edge wear. The upper seam has split 1/2 its length so I'm storing the LP, with its original World Pacific inner sleeve, outside the cover within the outer poly sleeve to avoid any further splitting and you will probably want to do the same. Very minor discoloration on the back cover (also pictured), liner notes completely legible.
