Description

This is another record from my library. Chesky Audiophile recording of THE PINES of ROME. This recording was made from the original master tape in RCA studios. The tape was played on a modified AMPEX 300 and through a Perfectionist Audio Pro-Reference I preamplifier directly to the lathe bypassing the mixing board. This is one of my favorite recordings. The second photo (which I took) was at the recording session with the actual tape on the machine playing through the Pro-Reference I. (you'll see my name on the record jacket)
