Description
This is one of the more sought after of all the Chesky titles. It is titled "Moussorgsky - The Power Of The Orchestra" (RC-30). Performances of "Night On Bald Mountain" and "Pictures At An Exhibition" are by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Rene Leibowitz. This recording was originally done by RCA Victor in London, England in 1964 and was released as one of the famous RCA Shaded Dog albums. The original first generation tape was used for this audiophile re-issue, and the mastering was done to the highest audiophile standards by Tim de Paravicini on a custom built, all tube cutting system that was built by Tim de Paravicini. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ************************************************************************************ The record is pristine with no marks, scratches or signs of play of any kind. The labels have no spindle marks. The jacket is very nice with no splits or tears. ****** Please see my other ads for more unusual and rare audiophile items including MFSL half speed LP's and gold CD's. Combine to save on shipping.
