Description

This is a beautiful, rare, hard to find original LP copy of "Charlie Parker With Strings".  1955 Mercury/Clef MG C675 (Mono). The glossy and heavy "Microgroove" vinyl is in NM/VG++condition, with a few minor scuffs.  We've played it and it plays out beautifully, with the exception of 30 seconds of tic at the opening of side A.  Label is clean and clear, with no wear at the hole.  Cover is in VG, with bright colors and very minor flaking at the top and bottom seams.  There is a well disguised 3" seam split at the bottom center of the cover,  but no splits at the mouth.  Besides the orchestra, the LP features Ray Brown on bass, Buddy Rich on drums, and Mitch Miller on oboe and french horn.
