CONDITION: EXCELLENT record issued in 1948 featuring CHARLIE DAVIS and his band that stood on the fault line of jazz and rock 'n' roll here with a very hot issue that according to Spontaneous Lunacy, a website dedicated to the history of Rock 'n' Roll, "BOOGIE WOOGIE BABY" is "A calling card type of record for Davis and rock’s attitude in general highlighted by a good arrangement and solid lyrics about sex disguised as dancing with Davis delivers in his strongest vocal performance amidst a raucous party atmosphere" and on the flip side with "LOVIN' " on IMPERIAL 5024 a 10" 78 rpm record issued -- please see photos for overall condition
