Thad Jones (tp) John Dennis (p) Charles Mingus (b) Max Roach (d) Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, March 10, 1955 Original DEBUT TEN INCH Lp pressing, #DLP-17,
FLAT Lip Edge, Made in USA, 1955, "RVG" in the dead wax. The vinyl looks very clean and there is very little noticeable surface noise, just the slightest hint of static which is mainly noticed in the quietest areas, and an occasional very light background tick, could be that a cleaning with with a VPI would really make this sparkling, just under near mint, NM-.
The cover: has very light ringwear on the back paste-on. There's edgewear around the corners where there's some paper missing as well and they're also slightly rounded, no splits, pencil writing on the back, and a thin pink pen mark, VG+ (see pictures).
