CHARLES MINGUS: ACETATE TEST PRESSING Records (Mfd in the USA, in the 60's) LIVE AT BIRDLAND OCTOBER 21, 1961 - Original Vinyl Album - All of the 1st Side is CHARLES MINGUS Live; MINGUS also has the first (long) track on SIDE 2 playing "Hog Callin' Blues" (according to the notes on the Cover). The other 5 Tracks (short Tracks) on Side B are JOE WILLIAMS Live (October 7, 1961). I can't vouch for the source material, but it was probably made from a live Radio Broadcast. The Record has some very light scuffs, but not that much. It looks VG++/Better. SIDE The overall Sound Quality is around VG++ for the MINGUS Tracks, and a little less for JOE WILLIAMS. It's not a high quality Recording to begin with. I'm trying to accurately grade these Tracks and not overgrade anything; I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves. I've posted some audio clips from every Track on this LP, starting with SIDE A, Track 1. Click on the BIG MICROPHONE ICON to Download them and listen for yourself. CRANK IT UP! I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. I can ship this to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $22.00; shipping to Canada will cost $15.00. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. PLEASE READ THIS: If bidding on this reaches $50-$120, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $7.50 of the $14.95 Registered Mail fee; Registered Mail is a little slower than 1st Class Mail, but it's more dependable, and it does provide a Tracking Number and some Insurance. If it sells for $120-$500 to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $50; I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90-$120. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First ClassInternational shipping. PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY eBay INVOICE. No reserve. Good luck!
