Description
Please read my description carefully before bidding. I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.
This one is the first stereo pressing of Charlie Mingus's EAST COASTING. BETHLEHEM Records BCP-6019. With Bill Evans on piano. This is an original issue from BETHLEHEM Records, issued in 1957, not a reissue version. White Labels and Deep Groove on both labels.
Charles Mingus (bass), Jimmy Knepper (trombone), Shafi Hadi (tenor and alto saxophones), Clarence Shaw (trumpet), Dannie Richmond (drums), Bill Evans (piano).
I've played test this record on my system and it plays NM- on Side A with some light background pops on some passages, not distract at all. Side B plays NM. Spindle marks on both labels.
The cover is VG++. Strong but around 2 inches split on the upper right corner. The spine is intact.
The record is play graded. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++ (NM-), VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
