Description

Out-of-print (4) LP boxset from Charles Mingus titled "The Complete Candid Recordings Of Charles Mingus" released by Mosaic Records (MR4-111) in 198?. This set is numbered 2109 of 7,500 limited edition pressed on audiophile quality vinyl. Has 17 of Mingus' most adventurous compositions inspired by the experimentation of Ornette Coleman and recorded for the Candid label. All vinyl records are in plastic dust sleeves. Comes with a 12-page booklet with photos and well-written, informative details about Charles Mingus and the Candid recording sessions. As you well know, all of Mosaic's releases are of the utmost quality and taste.

Details of the condition: All labels are in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl records were played with great care on a high quality turntable and condition ranges from MINT- to NEAR MINT with exception to Side II (first record) which has a surface mark in the middle of the vinyl. I test-played Side II and could not detect any noise or loss of fidelity from the surface mark...played great!

Booklet is in MINT condition.

Outer box is in VG++ condition with some very light signs of shelfwear and has a thin scratchmark in lower right corner of front paste-on.

Shipping Details: Shipping in the U.S. will be FREE by USPS Media Mail which will include insured postage at my cost. Buyer can request other methods of shipment but will be responsible for costs. I use quality cardboard mailers designed for shipping records and take great care in packaging to protect your investment.
