This is probably the ultimate charlatans rarity! Following The Only One I Know, Polar Bear was scheduled to be the charlatans' next single. 10 were pressed and then, well, 'Then' became the next single instead. Polar Bear was never released and so the 10 promo copies are rare as a blue badger with three testicles. In addition, this is a unique version of Polar Bear as it is slightly shorter for radio play purposes. 6 of these promos are accounted for by the band and management so there are really only 4 in circulation. I know who has one of them and he aint selling, so this is your chance to own one of the three that are available.

Keep your eyes peeled on ebay over the next few weeks as I'm going to be selling off all of the interesting stuff in my collection. I've got pretty much everything with the exception of some of the recent stuff, which isn't really floating my boat. So...look out for all of the char promo stuff, non UK stuff, t-shirts (50 of), posters (60 of), tickets (dozens of), laminates, aftershow stickers, fanzines, matchboxes, sticks of rock, some other stuff you didn't even know existed...and even charlatans knickers (unused!) so feel free to drop me a line if you have any particular charlatans needs. Got a wee bambino on the way and I'm moving house so time to sell up and make money for nappies and rusks.
