This is one of the most unusual items I have ever auctioned. It came from a music industry insider and is a 14 inch metal master plate (presumably to make stampers out of). IT PLAYS LIKE A NORMAL SINGLE!
There are 3 tracks: One track is THE CHAMELEONS "HERE TODAY" and the others are THRASH! "TIME WILL TELL" and one mystery track! There is a connection with STATIK RECORDS records as the 2 known (to me) tracks are on the 1982 COMPILATION ON STATIK RECORDS "YOUR SECRET'S SAFE WITH US". Not sure if the 3rd tracks is on there too as I do not have the sampler and do not know this 3rd track. Odd is that there are only 3 tracks on this plate. Was it meant as a 12" sampler which was not released-or did it come out? Any theories sent it by readers will be posted here! So give us your thoughts. One for STATIK RECORDS / CHAMELEONS collectors.
Condition is vg (surface marks but plays fine)

Gradings & Abbreviations:
M Mint - a perfect, probably unplayed record Ex Excellent - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG Very Good - a used, well played copy. There will be obvious signs of wear, surface marks & surface noise during quiet passages, but still quite nice and should play ok and all the way through.- Any minus or plus additions to the above gradings will indicate a grade just below or above.
