  Centipede were an English jazz/progressive rock/big band with more than 50 members, organized and led by the British free jazz pianist Keith Tippett. Formed in 1970, it brought together much of a generation of young British jazz and rock musicians from a number of bands, including Soft Machine, King Crimson, Nucleus and Blossom Toes. Centipede performed several concerts in England, toured France, and recorded a double-album, Septober Energy (produced by Robert Fripp), before disbanding at the end of 1971. They reformed briefly in 1975 to play at a few French jazz festivals.

All four record labels and all four vinyl surfaces are in superb undamaged Excellent Plus condition, clean, bright and undamaged record labels with hardly any signs of play. All four LP surfaces are scratch free and show just a couple of light surface hairlines.

Side 1 matrix’s are, AGBS 0604-2 E. Side 2. AGBS 0605-2 E. Side 3, AGBS 0606-2 E, and side 4, AGBS 0607-4 E.

    The LP's comes in their correct original black inner bags, and are protected in their original  Very Good Plus gate-fold Picture sleeve. The sleeve shows age toning and handling to the front and back panels with light rub marks, the centre gate-fold is in Excellent condition.
