ULTRA RARITY !! RARER THAN MORBID TALES OR TO MEGA THERION. THIS IS CELTIC FROST AT THEIR HEIGHT AND THE MAJESTIC CIRCLE OF THE TYRANTS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST METAL TRACKS EVER!!
****VERY SCARCE  SECOND CELTIC FROST ALBUM/EP ON VINYL, THIS ONE IS MOSTLY JUST FOUND ON CD - FINAL UPGRADE VINYL*****ONE OF THE VERY VERY HARDEST TO FIND!!!
NOISE  N 0024

Morbid Tales and Emperor's Return were originally separate EPs, though I find them more enjoyable in their more frequently available form as a combined full length album. Either way, these are five classic tracks from the greatest era of Celtic Frost, during which the band's sound still relied on primitive power chord bludgeoning and bestial grunts, but with a more artistic and poetic approach in the lyrics and imagery. The middle three tracks are the highlight of the EP, while the first and last seem to have a lower recording quality which detracts from the sound. "Circle of the Tyrants" is also found in a superior version on the band's next release, To Mega Therion. This is a crucial recording. for fans of occult underground early extreme metal. Sexy cover art, too. (from: rateyourmusic.com)

Vinyl: NM.  A sensational find worthy of an archive!!! I have played this in FULL > The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. There are NO jumps NO skips NO sticks. Best recorded version of this album/EP. It beats the CD and remasters hand down There are no hairlines at all even under a strong light source this vinyl is close to over the counter condition. There are only the retraction paper traces like all vinyls have under a strong light.  This is a KEEPER copy that will serve as a very healthy investment for the future!! I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great extreme metal collection.

Sleeve:  VG+.  Great condition sleeve without any noticeable wear. Slightly wavy appearance and for that reason VG+. The spine is fully legible. Please consult the accompanying pictures. Please do not hesitate to ask me for alternate views etc. and I will gladly provide these.

Inner lyric sleeve: EX .  NO tears, NO splits. Great condition.

This also has the original advertising sheet for Band T-shirts etc. Mostly gone missing.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
