Description

A Fantastic collection of Jazz masters. I was given this unplayed collection by a DJ on a National Jazz radio station.  The only thing is I don't like Jazz that much. Accordingly the records have been sitting on a shelf these many years, and whilst most are in Mint condition (according to my visual assessment) some have scratches and dust collected from just sitting there and being moved occasionally. In some instances there are two duplicates of the artist, please see the following list for items and condition.

  1. Sampler Vol 1 - Louis Armstrong - Duke Ellington - Dave Brubeck - Miles Davis - Count Basie - Billie Holiday - Benny Goodman. Condition - No serious scratches, dusty, needs cleaning.
  2. 2 x The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Plays Music From West Side story and Wonderful Town. Condition: one is VGC the other Near Mint.
  3. 2 x Mingus Ah Um / Charles Mingus. Condition: 1 is Mint the other is Near Mint
  4. 2 x Miles Davis - In A silent Way. Condition: One is Mint the other Near Mint.
  5. 2 x The Quintessential Billie Holiday Vol 2. Condition: One is Near Mint if not Mint, the other is XGC but needs cleaning.
  6. Monk’s Dream - The Thelodius Monk Quartet. Condition - Good, a few V Light scratches, however is dirty and needs claening.
  7. Louis Armstrong and his All Stars - Satch Plays Fats. Condition: Mint
  8. Earl Hines - Live at the Village Vanguard (never Before Released Material) Condition: Mint
  9. The Eddie Condon All Stars - Dixieland Jam. Condition: Mint.
  10. Errol Garner “Concert by the Sea” Recorded Live in Carmel. Condition: mint.
  11. The Quintessential Billie Holiday Vol 3 (1936-1937) condition: Mint.
  12. Buck Clayton - Jam Sessions From The Vault. Condition: Near Mint.
  13. Ben Webster & “Sweets Edison” - Ben And Sweets. Condition: Near Mint, dusty needs cleaning.
  14. Roy Eldridge with the Gene Krupa Orchestra, ft Anita O’Day - “Uptown”. Condition: Near Mint if not Mint.
  15. JJ Johnson - Trombone Master. Condition: Scratched over two tracks on side B, otherwise VGC
  16. Billie Holiday - Ray Ellis and his Orchestra - Lady in Satin. Condition: Near Mint if not Mint.
  17. Willie Smith with The Harry James Orchestra - “Snooty Fruity”. Condition: Mint.
  18. Bix Biederbecke Vol 1 - Singin’ The Blues. Condition: Mint.
  19. Miles & Coltrane. Condition: Light scratches, dirty.
  20. Bessie Smith - The Collection. Condition: Mint.



I am not a pro vinyl dealer and have no way of playing these discs. My assessment of condition is based on a visual inspection of the playing surface.
