Causa Sui is a long-standing space rock outfit from Denmark with a monumental back catalogue which has more recently found a steady home on El Paraiso Records. This live double LP captures some of the band's heaviest tracks recorded on home turf at Loppen, a fabled Copenhagen venue in the Freetown Christiana commune. That should paint a picture of the scene in which Causa Sui were able to cut loose and stretch out, playing eight fan favourites in extended form during the first week restrictions were lifted during the pandemic. The atmosphere positively pours out of the recording, not least because the band hardly ever play live. As such, this document is the next best thing.
