This is a rare 100 record collection that you will not find in your local record shop. This collection is cased in 20 gold leaf trimmed heavy boxed sets, each set containing 5 high quality vinyl 33 1/3 LP records pressed by Deutsche Grammophon, Philips, and Archiv Produkton, who are known for there high quality. Each record is protected in a double sleeve. This archive collection contains a history of classical music from Beethoven in the 1770’s up to Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin in the 20th Century. Some of the best known orchestras and conductors perform on these classical LP’s. You’ll hear music perfectly performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, and more. Famous conductors include Colin Davis, Herbert von Karajan, Karl Böhm, Bernard Haitink, Karl Richter, Rafael Kubelik, Seiji Ozawa, Michael Tilson Thomas, and Leonard Bernstein. Each sets in the collection include the original signed (see photo) introductory letter from American Express highlighting the features of that set along with a booklet listing the music, composers, historical background, and artists for that set.
