Description

Carlton And The Shoes, 'Love Me Forever' Studio One vinyl LP PSOL 003. White Studio One label, Jamaican pressing. Also issued as SOL 1136. This issued late 1970's/early 80's.

Produced Coxsone Dodd, recorded Jamaica Recording Studio.

Condition: Sleeve excellent, glossy photo, some creasing and bending towards edges. Label & vinyl excellent.

Test played - plays beautifully. Personal copy, very lightly played, puchased c.1982.

Carlton Manning and his vocal group provide the sweet harmonies over bubbling early reggae and rocksteady rhythms. The title track and the haunting 'Love is All' are masterpieces of arrangement and production.
