Original first edition released here in Brazil in early 60’s-includes factory dust liner with logo! Caramaba! Ultra rare and ORIGINAL Bossa LP from Carlos Lee. (Recentley re-issued by What Music) “Quite different than the usual bossa session -- in that Carlos Lee sings with a lot more depth and emotion! The style of the songs is a mixture of sweet, jazzy, and romantic -- stepping into groovers at just the right moment, but also offering a deeper range of styles, in the manner of Geraldo Vandre, Nara Leao, and early work by Edu Lobo. Lee's vocals are wonderful -- proud yet thoughtful, strong yet sincere, and very different than those you'd expect to hear on most other albums of this nature. A real winner, with a dark edge that hints at some of the changes to come in 70s MPB.” (dga)
