GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED
Note : musiche e direzione orchestrale di Carlo Savina. La prima traccia contiene il tema d'apertura del film : un'allegra ma non troppo passerella musicale che introduce ai personaggi del cast. Ritmo discretamente sostenuto. Seguono due temi romantici a tempo di valzer. Sul secondo lato " Canzone di Liolà " brano ben costruito e particolare : bossa alternata a improvvisazioni dell'orchestra e intervento del fischio. " Galanterie di zio Simone " ha una ritmica vivace, buon organo e qui e là si possono avvertire alcune sonorità tipiche del folk Siciliano.
Notes : music and orchestra Carlo Savina. The first track features the opening theme of the movie. A cheerful but not too much musical catwalk introducing to the cast and characters underlined by a fairly sustained rhythm. Follow two romantic themes in waltz time. On the second side the well-constructed and particular " Canzone di Liolà " based on an overall bossa time alternating improvisations of the orchestra and intervention of whistle. " Galanterie di zio Simone " has lively rhythm, good organ and here and there some typical sonorities from Sicilian folk.
Tratto dall'omonima opera teatrale di Luigi Pirandello, un garbato film-commedia di produzione Italo Franco Spagnola diretto da Alessandro Blasetti. Con Ugo Tognazzi, Giovanna Ralli, Anouk Aimée e Pierre Brasseur.
