MUSICAL MOOD - ITALIAN LIBRARY SOUNDTRACK Lp by CARLO SAVINA AND HIS ORCHESTRA. Original Italian pressing on FONOVIDEO label (FLP 119), from 1977. Sophisticated, exploitation sleaze by the cult arranger. An important item, as this Library is the only original vinyl soundtrack source to the infamous giallo thriller, L'Assassino Ha Riservato Nove Poltrone aka The Killer Reserved Nine Seats. A cult horror film directed by Giuseppe Bennati starring Chris Avram / Rosanna Schiaffino / Eva Czemerys and Lucretia Love. Sexy themes and funky mood music featuring the killer fender rhodes and delirious jazzy breaks of DIZZINESS (heard during the nude dance sequence from L'Assassino Ha Riservato...) and the explosive B-boy drums / nasty hip hop beats / evil basslines and heavy e-piano vamps of RAW SILK. Dreamy orchestrations with bewitching scat vocals by Edda Dell'Orso on EVERY NIGHT / EMERALD and EDEN. Other stylish themes include the seductive, late night fender rhodes groove of DREAMING and the jazz waltz and bossa influenced MERRY with Roberto Pregadio style piano. A fine example of mid '70s european film music with harpsichord / flute / guitar / synthesizers / jazz horns / hammond / harp and even some male vocal chorus too. On the same label that released Oscar Rocchi - Erbe Selvatiche / Barigozzi Group - Woman's Colors and Flautissimo Library session. Rare Library Lp!!! Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny, M- condition overall with some hairlines from sleeve removal. A couple of tiny scratches / light surface noises (all copies have this) and some soft pops in places. The soft card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with light wear. Some ring dirt marks / ring creasing from storage. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!!
