Description
This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1956 U.S. SUN RECORDS 10" 78 RPM RECORD containing the songs 'Blue Suede Shoes'/'Honey Don't' from rockabilly pioneer Carl Perkins. It is Sun Records catalog number 234. Condition of record is a high VG with most original gloss, and a small amount of surface marks, small scuffs, and light scratches, a couple of which can be felt but will not affect play. Record also has a slight slow warp which also does not affect play. Labels have some light spindle marks and a little contact wear. RECORD HAS NO CHIPS, OR CRACKS (SURFACE OR SUB-SURFACE) and plays nicely with a little of the usual non-distracting background hissing associated with most 78s. This scarce vintage 78 would be a nice cornerstone addition to any Sun Records or rockabilly record collection!
