CARCASS - Reek of Putrefaction LP
*NOTES: 2002 Clear vinyl Earache U.S. reissue (limited to 300 copies). Features ORIGINAL, long-since-deleted, gore/splatter cover art, and a different-style lyric insert, to what was in original 1988 pressing, and subsequent 2013 vinyl reissues... What else can be said about this album that has not already been said? Easily one of the greatest extreme metal LPs of all time, and one that was certainly WAY ahead of its time, considering this stuff was recorded as far back as 1987 (?!). Really the first true guttural-gore death metal record ever to be released.
*CONDITION SPECIFICS:
-COVER: EXC.--. Fully readable spine, still glossy, has lost little of its luster. No cuts or tears anywhere, just a couple light corner dings, moderate ringwear.
-INSERT: VG. Sturdy, shiny, and completely intact, no cuts or seamsplits at all, just a bit of ringwear, regular handling wear.
-VINYL: VG++. Just one faint discoloration streak is all I found. Otherwise, looks near perfect/unplayed.

PLEASE READ: If these records have ever been played at all (some, it appears, have not), it hasn't been for at least 15-20 years, as I acquired these LPs from the collection of a private owner, who no longer has a working record player, and hasn't in many years, and who thus decided to part with these beloved analog treasures.
