Description
This LP is becoming very rare now. It's the second album by Caravan on the UK Decca label entitled 'If I Could Do It All Over Again I'd Do It All Over You'. It's on the blue Decca label and features the boxed Decca logo. This is an original pressing and the catalogue number is SKLR 5062. This example was released in 1970. The music is superb with the classic Caravan line-up providing superb musicianship and exquisite vocals.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is laminated on the front and is in fine condition. There is some minor wear and ring wear on the front and some minor ring wear on the rear. The top and bottom edges show almost no wear and are in fine condition with no damage. Similarly, the spine is in fine condition with no damage at all. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. the rear of the sleeve is in great condition with minor discolouration but no marks at all. It states on the rear of the sleeve - 'DECCA - THE DECCA RECORD COMPANY LIMITED, Decca House, 9, Albert Embankment, London, SE1 - C 1970 The Decca Record Company Limited, London - Sleeve printed in England by Robert Stace - Laminated with 'Clarifoil' made by British Celanese Limited. I've graded the sleeve as Ex+.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a Decca blue and white die cut stereo company sleeve with polythene liner. I have graded the sleeve as Ex-.
RECORD - The record itself looks very clean with some superficial and some visible surface marks. There is some definite surface noise which is audible throughout the record during quiet passages and in between tracks and there are the some pops and clicks on both sides. I have detected no jumps or skips on any of the tracks. The labels are the blue Decca types with the boxed 'DECCA' logo and are in fine condition with some minor spindle marks. There is no damage to the labels on either side. It states on both labels - MADE IN ENGLAND - THE DECCA RECORD CO. LTD. - FULL FREQUENCY STEREOPHONIC SOUND - FFSS - Aristocrat Music'. The matrix numbers (ZAL 9752 P and ZAL 9753 P) are printed in silver script above the catologue numbers on the right hand side of each label. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - ZAL-9752.P-2W (stampers 1 M) - side two - ZAL-9753.P-4W (stampers 1 M) - please note that the strampers are very faint. I have graded the record as VG+ and I believe that this is very fair. I try to grade everything as accurately and conservatively as possible. The winner of this auction will not.
