Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1972 white label promo copy of the first Captain Beyond LP on Capricorn CP-0105. Features the famous 3-D cover, and promotional labels. This band was essentially Iron Butterfly with the original singer from Deep Purple, and they were maybe the greatest progressive rock / hard rock band in the US. Absolutely a classic of early 70s cosmic rock, with an incredible cover... and this is just an incredibly copy. Not only is it an impossible-to-find promo with the original cover but the disc is in great shape and plays perfectly. There are a couple of very light superficial marks but they don't affect the play in the least. The cover has only the most minor wear, with slight signs of use but barely. This is a truly top original promo, very hard to beat.
