On offer here is a VERY rare double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band called "Trout Mask Replica" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Straight labels!!!!  THIS AMAZING DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE STRAIGHT LABEL AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'COVER STICKER'!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS DOUBLE LP!!!!  WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - EVERY 1ST PRESSING (WITHOUT EXCEPTION!) CAME WITH ITS ORIGINAL '65/-' COVER STICKER!!!!  HOWEVER, THE RECORD COMPANY DIDNT DO THIS DOUBLE LP ANY GOOD AT ALL - BY PRINTING 'THIS LABEL IS REMOVEABLE' ON THE STICKER!!!!  SO OF COURSE 99% OF COPIES HAD THIS LABEL REMOVED!!!!  WORSE STILL - WHILST THE LABELS WERE CERTAINLY 'REMOVEABLE' WHAT THE RECORD COMPANY NEGLECTED TO SAY WAS THAT THEY WERE LIKELY TO LEAVE A HUGE STICKER TEAR WHEN REMOVAL WAS ATTEMPTED!!!!  HENCE 90% OF ALL 1ST PRESSINGS YOU EVER SEE TODAY - HAVE UGLY LARGE COVER TEARS, USUALLY ON ACCOUNT OF THIS LABEL!!!!  LUCKILY THIS DOUBLE LP HAS NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS AT ALL!!!!  THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS VERY CAREFUL WITH HIS LPs AND LEFT THIS STICKER WELL ALONE - AND NEVER TOUCHED IT AT ALL!!!!  WHICH MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP VERY RARE INDEED - AS IT IS SO VERY HARD TO FIND WITH NO STICKER TEARS AT ALL, AND ALMOST NEVER SEEN 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL '65/-' COVER STICKER!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS STRAIGHT LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1/1/1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD 'STICKERED' COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Straight UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is STS 1053 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Straight Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT BOTH RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl to BOTH records is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  BOTH records play with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality of BOTH records is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records MUST grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  WHAT A STUNNING SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeves which are both in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold 'Stickered' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO splits, NO visible edge wear (with only the very VERY faintest traces of 'touching in'!), NO rips, NO tears, NO visible spinal wear (side words PERFECT!) apart from the very VERY faintest traces of 'touching in' on the VERY point of the spine ONLY, NO sticker tears, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, only 1 TINY dot of wear in 1 corner, NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!!  The only other detail to mention (100% from manufacture!) is that when this cover was made back in 1969 - it wasnt folded quite correctly and it missed the spine slightly on outside of the cover.  Therefore the 'side words' are more on the reverse of the cover - and the Gatefold is slightly longer on 1 side when closed.  However - this is very VERY minor indeed and BOTH sides hold the records PERFECTLY with NO problems AT ALL!!!!   THE ULTRA RARE '65/-' COVER STICKER IS IN MINT CONDITION!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
