This is an original and RARE FIRST UK PRESSING of Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart and his Majic band.What an LP.... Known to be one of the most difficult LPs to penetrate ever made. TOTAL GENIUS. This LP sat in my collection year after year and intimidated me. I used to think no im not playing that again it gives me a headache. I thought it was completely nuts. But I kept at it and finally found my way in. And thats when you realize your time has not been wasted. The none laminated BRILLIANT gate fold sleeve shows the tiniest amount of ring ware and very slight edge ware and there is a small piece of damage to the front visible if you double click the pictures. There is some slight spine damage but the spine still remains square in shape and you can still read all the writing clearly. The colours to the front and back are very bright and vibrant and have not faded at all over the last 48 years.The inside of the gate fold is IMMACULATE. Due to its faults as bright as this sleeve still is to be fair the highest I could grade it is VERY GOOD ++. The labels to all four side of the vinyl are in flawless condition with the lightest spindle trails. All four sides of these records are in lovely condition. They have only the lightest possible hairlines from the vinyl being removed and replaced in the paper inner sleeves over the years. All four side have a EXCELLENT high new look luster and have not been played much at all of at least played with the care due a lovely collectors rarity like this LP. All four side of this record play beautifully with no skips jumps or sticking and there is no bad pops or noises that do not belong on this brilliantly insane piece of art. It plays all the way magnificently.The LP`s I would grade as EXCELLENT MINUS.
