CAPTAIN BEEFHEART AND THE MAGIC BAND-CLEAR SPOT 1972 REPRISE RECORDS LP MS 2115 IN A SOLID VG+ (cover)-EXC. VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The 7th release from the avant-garde mind of Captain Beefheart in this auction. He was shooting for a bit more commercial success on this one employing Ted Templeman & Donn Landee but the result still holds the Magic Band sound intact. Tracks such as Low Yo Yo Stuff, the title cut, My Head is My Only House Unless It Rains & Crazy Little Thing all appear on this must own release from Captain Beefheart. All fans of the man need this one in their collection, it's a keeper!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light scuff on side 1 and a very small, very light hairline on side 2 neither of which hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The clear plastic sleeve has a fold top, but the former owner decided to cut the opposite side as an opening. There is a mouth tear there about 2" long. I provided an intact replacement inner sleeve. An awesome buy!!
