- DocBateman Feb 7, 2021 Love CB with all my heart, but this pressing is just pure sh*t... warped and awful sounding (no dynamics, bad mastering and mixing, etc.). Don’t get this please. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1, is because it’s the Captain.. and you don’t give the Captain one star... Reply 3 Helpful
- korogho Aug 1, 2020 Got it today and it's absolutely awful. Sound has distortion, sometimes you don't hear the singer, sometimes the hihats cover everything, most of the time your ears bleed. As we say in France : c'est dégueulasse... Reply 3 Helpful
- stixvoll Mar 23, 2020 AWful, awful pressing, avoid at all costs. Horribly muted with clicks and pops, mine was even slightly warped. again.....AVOID!!!
I think the quality of coloured vinyl has gone up immeasurably in the '10's, take the limited Can coloured reissues/remasters from last year--they sound fantastic. Likewise the TMR "fishscale fruitcake" vinyl from the Third Man/Bizarre bundled release. I have great sounding copies of White Light/White Heat on purple vinyl and the eponymously-titled LP on white--both sound great.
