CANNONBALL ADDERLEY (with Bill Evans) - Know What I Mean?
A truly excellent plus condition copy of this UK 1st press1962 jazz rarity, sparingly played with gleaming vinyl and great sounding MONO playback
Year/Label : 1961 UK RIVERSIDELabel number : MONO RLP 433
Matrix numbers : 6 RLP 433 1L 1 670 115 C12 / 6 RLP 433 2L 1 670 114 C12
1961 UK 1st press jazz rarity on cherished RIVERSIDE label : near mint (NM) gleaming, jet black sheen vinyl with earliest 1L/2L matrices, difficult to detect any marks at all on either side of the vinyl even with close scrutiny under a bright light (if you look really closely you may just be able to detect one or two faintest of faint paper scuff lines, but that's all) - clearly this record has been little played; near mint (NM) labels with just a couple of small & extremely faint spindle trails next to the centre hole on each; excellent plus (EX+) condition front side laminated outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, well defined right angled corners with barely any rubbing, no laminate lifting (apart from x2 tiny laminate lifts towards the top left corner), no creasing, just a couple of small & very light storage marks towards the edges on the reverse side; superb audio quality with no clicks, interference, distortion or background crackle - simply great tone with crystal clear MONO audio quality throughout, with Adderley and Bill Evans (piano) on top form. Comes complete with plain white "MADE IN ENGLAND" poly-lined inner sleeve, remaining in great condition and fully functional - just some minor creasing and a little age discolouration on the top edge. A true early 60's jazz gem, with these UK 1st press Riverside recordings now highly sought after & becoming very hard to find.
A "must have" for any serious jazz vinyl collection! POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £5 using Royal Mail 1st class signed for ;
for continental Europe £14 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,
and for the rest of the world £21 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.
I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 53 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window!
