Riverside RS 9433 Original Stereo Black Label Vinyl LP release.  This session came out in 1961 and had Bill Evans on piano, Percy Heath on bass and Connie Kay on drums.  This quartet meshes like they've been together for years.

Songs include:  Waltz for Debby, Goodbye, Who Cares?, Venice, Toy, Elsa, Nancy (with the Laughing Face) and Know What I Mean?

For true JAZZ collectors, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE.  Both Cannonball and Bill were at the height of their powers.  Heath and Kay lay down a tasteful but solid backdrop for Adderley and Evans to launch from.

As to condition, the LP is SUPER CLEAN (VG+).  I would say Near Mint but I rarely use the word mint or near mint on something almost 50 years old.  The black stereo label with the silver print is CRISP and CLEAN.  The only flaws are some light spindle marks from someone who couldn't find the hole.  The jacket is also VG with normal signs of wear.  The seams are TIGHT with NO splitting.  There is some ring wear evident, slightly pushed corners and light wear marks.  But, overall, the photo is CLEAN and BRIGHT as are the rear cover notes.  NO ink marks, writing, cuts, rips, tears or anything like that.  The LP still has a lot of its original shine.  I've listened to this recently and I see why collectors grab these LPS.  The sound is CLEAN and CRISP with each instrument present but not over bearing.  It's a LIVE, sort of natural sound.  Also, these older vinyl LPS were made from nice thick plastic not like the flimsy pieces of crap the recording industry dumped on us in the late 60's and 70's.

I've owned this LP for about 15 years of its life.  I got it during my days of browsing around the RARE used book and record stores.  Are there any of those still around?  I don't know.  The LP has been kept in a clean, air conditioned, smoke free house over these 15 years.  I've always taken pains to take good care of my stuff.
