A classic Canadian Jazz/Rock/Fusion LP with monstrous drum breaks and beats! Includes the phenomenal "Les Passants du soir"... and so much more!! Jeremie was a Quebecois ballet scored by Lee Gagnon. It is a known and sought-after jazz-funk album with plenty of wha-wha and breaks (nobody ever seems to mention the nice mellow folk parts on the album though). There are certain albums that even hardened soundtrack junkies like us have been looking for for years. This is one of those albums. A crazy electronic funk album with plenty of wha-wha and breaks from a French Canadian jazz ballet, this record was only issued in tiny quantities in the Montreal/Quebec area. Why is it so good? The instrumentation. The music. The breaks. Everything is in here - it's completely eclectic and outstandingly funky. Acoustic guitar, lashings of wah, flute, vocals, synth, drums and more. Ever tried to find the legendary hip-hop 'Gagnon Break'. It's on here, and there are more besides.
CONSERVATIVE GRADING. Jacket VG++ / Record VG+ The gatefold jacket has faint wear. The vinyl has minor scuffing and only a few light scratches. Minor crackle is audible on playback but isn't too distracting. A/B labels are perfect. Learn how I grade HERE
