This is a real gem of history in german progressive-rock music:The FIRST Lp by CAN called"Monster Movie",released in the year of 1970.It´s not the absolutely firstpressing in spite of the fact,that they made only 500 copies of this record,as a privatepressing("Music Factory").a year before,1969,on a small private label,but this one is impossible to find and unpayable(Up to 3000.-Eur).A year later they sign a contract with Liberty/UA and after that,this Lp was released.On offer is the Original Liberty FIRSTPRESSING Lp,Germany,year of release 1970 and with LIBERTY/UA text on labels(Later ones has just United Artists on label),heavy vinyl and a halflaminated cover,catnumber is LBS 83342 I.The very heavy vinyl looks and plays NEAR MINT(M-),the halflaminated cover is in clean&stunning NEAR MINT(M--)shape too!!!Comes with the original"Electric Rock Idee 2000"sticker!The music of CAN don`t needs a further discribtion,it´s outstanding and totally unique and a totally new experience.......Those attributes made them so successful all around the world............This rare 4 Track Lp is a fantastic example for their excursions and discoverys into;-and of new soundscapes.............They shows in a totally new way what does it mean to "live music".........to make it vividly............The most of those sounds are handmade,at this time musicans didn´t had effect tools,or 16 track or more recording machines!!!!In spite of this fact it´s very very amazing what they create..............A relic of progressive music this very first Lp by CAN...................
